Pair of late C18th/early C19th Dutch oval gilded brass jardiničres or planters .
Fitted with the original tinned or zinc removable liners , the oval brass waisted bombe-shaped bodies with bands of floral repousse and pierced decoration. Each fitted with bold stylised lion-masks to the ends with wrythen-twist ring handles and raised on four cast lions’ paw claw feet .
In excellent original condition with no damage or repairs . Decorative and practical rarely-found matching pair of period brass planters .
