Description

A really wonderful example of a late Victorian or Edwardian dressing table tray, made from silver plate. These trays can be rather thin and "tinny" at times, this one however is a good weight and feels really solid; the size is larger than most too, measuring 14" x 10".

The decoration is exquisite, with various cherubs playing musical instruments, Doves and Swallows, mythical faces amongst a riot of floral and foliate decoration.

Excellent condition.
