Antique Oak Chest of Drawers

An attractive 18th century antique oak chest of drawers. The antique oak chest has a two plank top, with an arrangement of five full width graduating drawers, each with decorative brass backplates and drop handles. The antique oak chest of drawers is raised on bracket feet. Beautiful patina and colour throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the top and drawer fronts (pictured), also shrinkage to the top and sides (pictured). The right hand side has minor losses to the base & side (pictured), also the fourth drawer down has losses to the corner (pictured). There is evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique oak chest of drawers remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a charming example of 18th century furniture.
