Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
It is a lovely size, fairly small and compact with a good sized working surface.
The legs are beautifully turned and elegant, with a cross frame stretcher for extra support.
We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There are various small marks and bumps here and there beneath the polish, commensurate for age.
