A beautifully made early 19thc jewellery box, made from mahogany with boxwood ''stringing'' and inlaid with a centre sycamore shell design and with an inlaid sycamore fan design in each corner.....it still retains the original ''old'' mirror set into the lid ....I also like the intricate ''spring'' hinge that is still in full working order....fine colour and condition.
