Description

A gorgeous pair of silver candle sticks dating from the end of the Victorian period. These lovely examples are of half height and are in the Adams revival neo-Classical style, so popular at the time. The bases are squared and stepped, featuring bands of decoration. This decoration is repeated to the sconces, which are hallmarked and removable. The bodies are column shaped with ribbing and acanthus terminals. These wonderful examples are as practical as they are decorative. Dimensions below.
