The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch measures 20mm wide excluding the winding crown and 29mm high excluding the articulated lugs, so although originally designed as a man’s watch, today it is classed as a mid-size piece. The main body of the case is chromium plated while the case back is stainless steel and it is all in super condition. The back of the watch has a 1937 inscription.

The lens has light marking but is very acceptable.
The dial is signed with the name of the original retailer, J W Benson, London. The dial is in lovely original condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes on a vintage leather strap which may well be the original.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
