Antique Omega Labrador half hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, signed Labrador, which is working nicely. The movement has a Breguet hairspring for enhanced precision, screw set jewels and a slightly more unusual patent star regulator.

Louis Brandt & Frère produced a range of movements with the Labrador calibre being introduced around 1890, and the Omega a few years later and of course which subsequently gave its name to the brand. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold filled Moon model. There is light surface marking to the back of the watch but overall the condition is good. The front of the watch has a small central lens surrounded by enamel filled Roman numerals.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is a glass lens which is in lovely condition.

The dial has blued steel hands, including the special half hunter hour hand so the time can be read when the front cover is closed. There is a short faint hairline over number 10 but otherwise the dial is in good condition.

The watch comes in a vintage presentation box.
