A finely carved piece of oak linenfold panel, from the 16thc....paneling of this design was often used on walls in large houses, churches as well as on early forms of furniture such as coffers, chests, armoires and beds ....this piece of linenfold has come from a larger piece, but is now a very useful size and has gained a very good colour...decorated with punchwork decoration.
