Rupert Landen Antiques has dated this Edwardian Brass Cherub Chandelier to the Edwardian era.
The main section is suspended from this with C scroll dragons. The main central section is decorated with cherubs. There is a repeat patterns with a dental moulding, going around the top and lower ring. This piece has a small bayonet bulb holder in the centre. Each arm has a figure of a man with a goatee adorned with Sea Scrolls and a small screw bulb holder. There is a green fabric lampshade which comes with this piece, it has been cleaned but has the odd mark here and there (see pictures). The tassels around the bottom are made from coiled brass to get a gold appearance. I think the shade is serviceable but if not to your taste, you can see from the pictures it looks great without a shade. I do know a company that would be happy to recover this with new silk if needed. The measurements of the top ring is 41 cm the measurement of the bottom ring is 48 cm the height of the piece not including the shade is 89cm. C1910
