Description

An English rococo style suite in gilt, consisting of a sofa and two Bergere armchairs. Wonderful quality and unusual being English rather than French and dating to an earlier period than would be imagined. Very good proportions and shape, there are no breaks or wobbles, the original gilt is rubbed in places, giving a very attractive appearance.the Suite still is in its original horsehair upholstery, just taken back to the calico for easy re-covering. The measurements are for the sofa.
