Description

A large pair of French tapestries dating from the late 18th - early 19th century. One panel depicts cherubs fishing in amongst woodland and the other depicts cherubs hunting birds with bows and arrows, both surrounded by classical boarders.

The tapestries appear to vary slightly in length, however they are actually the same length but the one one the left has been taken up as there is a piece missing ( please see the last photo) this could be unstitched and repaired to make them equal lengths. Both have historical rips and holes mainly on the outer edges, they could do with a good clean or left as they are in their country house condition.

Overall they are superb decorative pieces and are in good order for their age.
