Gents 9ct gold Longines wrist watch, 1966.

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 13,279,833 which dates it back to 1966.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London 1966 together with the mark for Baume, importers of Longines watches for the UK and Commonwealth.

The case is in good condition. The case back has a ’20 years loyal service’ inscription from John A Smith Ltd. Replacement winding crown.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in lovely original condition with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
