Antique Georgian Mahogany Console Table

18th century
Description

A fantastic original Georgian period solid mahogany console table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1790’s period.

It is a great size and is of amazing quality. The solid mahogany is accentuated with beautiful satin wood inlay on the edges. This has a bow fronted demi-lune shaped top, and sits on elegant tapered legs terminating in spade feet.

We have recently had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age. There are various small indentations and marks beneath the polish, commensurate for age. This has plenty of character and a stunning patina.
