Description

A lovely velvet covered Victorian book of Church Service/Prayer book.

This is in lovely condition, with minimal fading to the velvet on the spine, probably where it has sat on a library shelf.

The gold edging to the pages is in super condition as is the plaque to the front, the metal edgings and the fastening.

The inside front and back covers are lined in silk and velvet which is also in super condition.

A contemporary inscription dated 1856, I did find a Henrietta Vane Hope Vere in the peerage in an online reference.
