This large and impressive FRENCH ENAMELLED VASE bears the impressed mark of JULES VIEILLARD of BORDEAUX and handpainted Decorator's Marks to the base.

The JULES VIEILLARD POTTERY worked from 1845 to 1895.

The VASE has HERALDIC designs, CROWNS and SHIELDS, evoking the Knights of Old.

It stands approximately 15 inches (38 cm) high.

Condition: There are some chips and wear to the raised details. The foot has been broken off at some point and reglued. The bottom of the actual Vase has not been damaged and it still holds water. There are some old chips to the footrim.

The colours are vibrant. The detail in the design is notable. A beautiful Vase that displays so well.
