Mahogany Three Piece Bergere Suite Circa 1920

Description

A good quality mahogany three piece bergere suite, circa 1920, with caned back and sides, carved detailing to the scroll arms and upon ball and claw feet, upholstered in purple velvetl, loose back and seat cushions and with additional scatter cushions.

In excellent condition, the caning is good and strong, the seat cushions are foam filled replacements and the back cushions feather filled. Some marking to the velvet in places but otherwise very good.

Sofa 83cm high, 136cm wide, total depth approx 85cm, seat depth 74cm and seat height 44cm.

Chairs 83cm high, 66cm wide, seat width 64cm wide, seat depth 74cm and seat height 44cm.
