Georgian Mahogany Bureau Bookcase

18th century
Description

Fine quality Mahogany Georgian Bureau Bookcase .Circa 1770 .

The top with a dentil moulded cornice with swan neck pediment with two doors that have wonderful unusual glazed panels enclosing three glass shelves ,the doors retain its original lock and key .

below the bureau has a fully fitted interior with document drawers and cubby holes and two secret drawers ,the fall front retains its original lock and key .

below this there is a two over three drawer arrangement the drawers have wonderful original brass swan neck handles .

All drawers are oak lined with fine hand dovetailed joints .

The bureau bookcase is very impressive and a great size 4ft wide and wonderful proportions .

it comes in two parts for transport .
