Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Mustard Pot - 1850

An antique Victorian sterling silver mustard pot which has a round pierced body with pretty detailing, a plain domed shaped hinged lid with a patterned thumb piece, an attractive side handle and resting on a flat base with unusual decoration. The blue glass liner fits neatly within the body and remains in excellent condition. This lovely mustard pot would make an interesting addition to a collection and would be perfect to use on the table. It weighs 3.6 troy ounces (111 grams) without the glass liner.

Diameter of base: 8.2 cms (3.2'')
 
It was hallmarked in London for 1850 by Richard Pearce & George Burrows and remains in excellent condition.
