High Quality Edwardian Figured Mahogany Antique Display Cabinet / Bookcase
Dating from the early 20th century ca.1900 this High Quality Edwardian Figured Mahogany Antique Display Cabinet / Bookcase is a superb design and built by a true craftsman. It has a beautifully figured inverted break-fronted top with dental moulding and quality blind fretwork carved frieze. It has two astragal glazed doors and a central open bookcase section. All have three adjustable shelves and key and working locks. This fine antique bookcase stands on an inverted breakfront plinth and it has aged to a warm Mahogany shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
