Exquisite Art Deco Silver & Guilloche Enamel Dressing Table Jar by the Adie Brothers, Birmingham 1929

1900 - 1920
Description

This stunning Art Deco silver and turquoise guilloche enamel powder bowl is dated Birmingham 1929 and was made by the Adie Brothers. The exquisite guilloche enamel scalloped lid fitted on crystal glass body incised with flower garlands.

The base with smooth pontil mark.

Complete with the original powder puff

Hallmarks:

A Bros Ltd for the Adie Brothers.

Lion passant.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Date letter "E" for 1929.

Condition:

Excellent.

Enamel lid in excellent condition.

Glass in perfect condition. No chips or cracks.

Dimensions:

Height: 6cm / 2.3 inches.

Diameter: 10cm / 4 inches.
