The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Rotary wings logo
The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the hinged case back for Glasgow (import mark), 1930 with a sponsor’s mark for Sylvain Dreyfus.

Rotary Watches Ltd was established at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, by Moise Dreyfuss in 1895. By the 1920s family members Georges and Sylvain Dreyfuss began importing Rotary watches to Britain, which was to become the company's most successful market.

The case is in lovely condition has handsome detailing along each of the long sides.
The curved lens has light scratches, nothing too detrimental at all.
The dial has blued steel hands, a rectangular subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch has a handsome vintage leather strap and it all comes in a vintage presentation box.
