Antique Solid Silver Menu Holder - Fox

Status: This item has been sold
Sold by: The Silver Cabinet

A striking example of a cast, solid sterling silver menu holder.

It is clearly hallmarked on the base for London 1911, with the maker''s mark for Thomas Callow & Son. It is also stamped on the underside of the base.

The detailing is wonderful. It has red glass eyes, one of which looks to have a slight squint, and some fearsome teeth!
