Description

This exquisite Scottish silver and hardstone "trowel" bookmark is dated Edinburgh 1909. The engraved silver handle inlaid with Scottish agate and bloodstone. The blade fully hallmarked.

Hallmarks:

Makers marks: J.F

Edinburgh Assay mark.

Date letter "D" for 1909.

Thistle.

Dimensions:

Length: 8.5cm / 3.3 inches.

Maximum width: 2.5cm / 1 inch.

Condition:

Very good.

Agate insets in perfect condition.
