Quiet Street Antiques of Bath has dated this piece to the 1860s.

There are in total SIX drawers to the front. The largest drawer to the base contains implements including two clear glass containers of different shapes and a clear glass funnel. There is also a small collection of items including strong thread on a reel, wool, bleach ointment etc. The smaller drawers, each with and ivory knob, contain further tools and implements, including vials, weighing scales, weights and four medicine bottles. Two of the drawers have sliding tops for smaller delicate items that might require further security.

The rear of the box has a slide-out solid mahogany panel reserved for larger more toxic substances (all bottles currently empty - phew!) historically referred to as 'Poisons'.
A comprehensive set.
