Description

Gents 1960s Smiths Astral wrist watch.

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement, stamped Made in England, which is working well. This calibre, 60464E was introduced in 1965 as the slimline 17 jewels centre seconds version.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is gold plated while the case back is stainless steel. It is in good condition with just a little wear to the plate, mainly on the backs of the lugs.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial has a little marking and light freckling but you have to look quite carefully to see it.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
