The front having a wide drawer with working lock & key flanked by 2 banks of 2 graduated drawers all having cock beading, cross banded and ebony lined fronts with burr centres and good quality etched brass handles. The sides and freestanding back with conforming cross banding and ebony outline stringing. The desk is raised on 6 solid yew wood ring turned legs with brass cup casters. Condition- very good with dove tailed joints and pine linings, the original leather with one very small blemish. Dimensions:- Height…30.75’’/ 78cm. Width…55’’/ 140cm. Depth…33.5’’/ 85cm.
