Superb Quality William IV Rosewood Antique Bookcase / Cabinet
This early 19th century Superb Quality William IV Rosewood Antique Bookcase / Cabinet dates from circa 1835 and is of very unusual smaller proportions. It has an unusual shaped pediment above four glazed doors and three frieze drawers. This fine antique bookcase has keys and working locks on the cupboard doors and each interior comprises of one shelf. The sides have elegant turned columns with decorative brass features and this quality antique stands on beautifully turned bun feet. The Rosewood has aged to a rich warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of antique furniture wax finishing.
