Set of 4 Brass Candlesticks - King & Queen of Diamonds 1897

Description

A rare graduated set of four brass candlesticks, comprising a pair of King of Diamonds and a pair of Queen of Diamonds candlesticks. Both sets date to 1897, with the King of Diamonds standing taller then the Queen. Both sets have the same distinctive geometric design.

Both pairs are in very good condition, with some slight surface wear due to age and use. The pushers to the Queen pair work well, while the pushers to the King are very stiff.

Total weight approx 3.3kg.

King - height approx 32cm. Base measures approx 12cm x 12.5cm. Weight approx 1.8kg

Queen - height approx 29cm. Base measures approx 11cm x 11.5cm. Weight approx 1.5kg.
