Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
It is of superb quality with many fine features. There is beautiful carving on the edges, the top and drawer fronts are nicely cross banded.
The central drawer is felt lined with cutlery divider, and this sits on beautifully tapered legs terminating in spade feet.
The mahogany has a gorgeous colour tone and lovely grain patterns. We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
