A Charming Scrub Top Pembroke Table.

A lovely farmhouse table.

This is a lovely example of a Victorian solid pine Pembroke table believed to be made around C1880 featuring a light green hand-painted base and a pine scrub top.

This table has a small form yet is versatile from having 2 drop-down leaves managing to comfortably seat 4 people and be used as a Kitchen, breakfast table or occasional/hall table. This table features a single drawer to the one side complete with original turned knob. The drawer is dovetailed constructed, is smoothly operating and clean inside.

The table has 4 hinged leaf supports which work smoothly and the table stands on 4 typical Victorian turned legs. The table is solid with no loose joints or woodworm and the solid Pine tops are flat and not twisted. The table does have a small historic split, dents, scratches and damage as expected with a scrub top Pine antique table which all adds to its overall charm.

Please note; Being an antique item of this age there are obviously marks, scratches, stains and dents as pictured. However, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character.
