A small antique steamer trunk in a stunning condition.
This Lovely trunk is made from metal with a brass locking mechanism and original scrumbled wood effect paint. The lock latches but does not lock closed, there is no key with this chest. This trunk is completely original with some of the paint worn off, dents and scratches which all shows its history and usage which we feel adds lots of charm and character. We have just cleaned, waxed and polished the brass on this trunk to give it a lustrous natural sheen and preserve and protect the item for many more years to come. This trunk features the original brown scrumbled wood grain.
This chest is an ideal vintage/retro chest for storage or just be used as a room decor/blanket chest.
Please note; This item is in very good condition for its age but will obviously have the odd slight blemishes and here and there, however, we feel that this adds to the charm and authenticity of the item with it being antique.
