Lincoln Restorations has dated this piece to the 1880s.
A lovely addition to any open fireplace.
Established by Thomas Fletcher 1840-1903 the maker originally started work as a dentist but diversified into making equipment for the dentistry industry, blacksmiths, foundries and forging. The maker then went on to diversify into many other sectors and had 900 employees in 1914.

As a statement to the quality of the items he produced these bellows are in fully working order and are ideal to be used for an open fireplace in any home. The leather is all complete with no holes or tearing and the bellows pump a very good amount of air with little effort from the foot.

This item is in great condition for its age as shown by the photographs however being an antique item of this age there are blemishes here and there which we feel adds to its originality and heritage.
