Description

EAn excellent original antique Victorian writing desk in solid mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from the 1860-1880’s.

The quality is superb, this sits on turned solid mahogany legs with original brass casters. The drawers have turned mahogany handles and fine hand cut dovetailed joints. The back of this is also nicely polished, so can be used as a free standing item.

The inset leather top is hand coloured and gold tooled, with a gorgeous patina. We have recently had this re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age with various signs of old wear and patina beneath the polish.
