Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
It sits on a plinth base and has two removable / adjustable shelves. This appears to be completely original, it has lots of patina and plenty of character.
We have recently had this re-polished, it is in lovely condition for its age. There are various small marks and indentations here and there, as you would expect from a 200 year old item of furniture.
