George III Satinwood Pembroke Table Circa 1800

Description

Stunning George III highly figured East Indian satinwood drop flap pembroke table inlaid with striking design of ebony lines on top and drawer front. Oak lined drawer with original lion head brass knobs. Raised on square tapered legs terminating in brass toe casters. Amboyna panels to top of legs and with ebony line inlay. All in very fine original condition but for a couple of minor veneer repairs. Wonderful golden colour with great waxed patina. A truly lovely table.

Size; 28" high, top 33" x 39" open, 33" x 19.5" closed.
