Description

A wonderful set of six solid mahogany Regency period dining chairs with cane rattan seats. These were made in England, they date from around 1815-1830.

They are something of a harlequin set, consisting of four identical chairs and a pair of very similar but slightly different chairs.

They are all of super quality, with beautifully carved solid mahogany frames. The rattan seats are all in super condition & they are probably original, if not then they were re-done a very long time ago.

We have had these recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for their age. There are various small indentations and marks beneath the polish, they have acquired a gorgeous patina over the years.
