French Antique Bronze & Marble Alabaster Chandelier (1890) Napoleon III
This large and impressive bronze chandelier stems from an acanthus leaf ceiling rose via three twisted bronze arms to its main central decorative crown.
The crown is decorated with floral motifs all around.
The three protruding light fittings are decorated with floral decorations, acanthus leaves and ribbons and have opaque floral glass light shades.
There are three further bulbs inside the white variegated alabaster dish.
The chandelier has been sympathetically restored with new electric cable. As with all lighting we suggest it is tested and fitted by an approved electrician.
In wonderful condition with only one small historic repair to the dish that has been checked and is stable. Please see photos.
We accept payment by bank transfer, credit card, debit card or PayPal in either Sterling or Euros. Please visit Pyrontique website for further details or if you wish to make an online purchase.
Delivery to an address in England & Wales is included in our listed price. This is for a one-man delivery service to the ground floor only. Please always inspect goods thoroughly before signing.

If a piece is crated and you cannot unpack immediately, please sign and write ‘goods unchecked’ and check the goods as quickly as you can.
Please keep damaged goods and within 48 hours please send us by email photos of the damaged packaging and item and we will discuss solutions with you.
As with all antiques, there may be small normal signs of wear & tear due to the age of a piece and its history. We aim to describe our pieces accurately - please ask for more description and photos if you would like more information.
Every piece is checked by our qualified restorer with many years of extensive experience in a variety of settings. Some pieces occasionally have signs of historic old woodworm (which has long since disappeared, hence the holes) as is common with old French furniture. Any pieces with evidence of historic worm are always treated as a precautionary measure and subsequently cleaned and waxed when needed.
The wiring on electrical pieces is usually original (unless stated in the description) and we recommend that each piece is checked and fitted by a qualified electrician at installation.
