N Wilson Antiques Clocks has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
This lovely antique boulle mantel clock has a beautiful, unusually shaped case. It has a round top section with a lovely bow shaped ormolu mount to the top. This section the sits on a lovely shaped base with fantastic boulle inlay to the fronts. The clock then has Ebonised sides and back.

The dial is then painted and set out in black Roman numerals with a thin ring of dashes to the outside marking the minutes. The dial then has two lovely shaped hands. Finally the dial has a round, bevelled glass set into the brass bezel.

The movement is then wound from the front and accessed from the back. It is ticking away and chiming as it should and comes complete with its pendulum and winding key. The movement then strikes both the number of hours on the hour as well as once on the half past.
It measures approximately:
10” / 25.5cm Tall.
6.5” / 16.5cm Wide.
4.5” / 11.5cm Deep.
