Description

For your consideration is this beautifully restored gents wrist watch by the American watch company Elgin. On first viewing one can't not be impressed by the dial, for a 90 year old watch it's almost flawless, yet totally original and untouched aside a light clean. Recently serviced last month, this watch keeps good time and has also been ultrasonically cleaned so it's as hygienic as possible. Also fitted with a new soft leather strap. Perfect watch for any man as daytime wear and evening. It is fitted with a good-quality 15-jewel Elgin .

The movement has the serial number which gives it a manufacture date of 1938.

Width: 25mm, excluding crown.

Length: 44mm total length to tips of the lugs.

Thickness: 9mm, including crystal.

Viewable dial/crystal: 18mm x 22mm.

Strap: 16mm wide, tapering slightly to 14mm at the buckle.

Wrist fitting: The watch should fit a wrist size of between 160mm and 190mm.
