Description

An outstanding figural silver plated biscuit box beautifully engraved to create a highly decorative box. The top if mounted with a lady's bust acting as the finial to help open the hinged lid.

The sides are mounted with the most wonderful rams head handles with rings, complimenting the rams head and hoof feet.

The underside is marked H & H for top notch and highly sought-after silversmith, Hukin & Heath. Excellent condition dating to around 1860 and measuring 6 3/4" x 6" foot to foot x 9 1/4" tall to top of finial.
