Description

A super and rare Jugendstil (German art nouveau) paste brooch. The green glass stones are open backed so the light shines through their fantastic emerald colour, while the white pastes are foil backed for extra sparkle.

In excellent antique condition with a sturdy C clasp.

Stamped 800; 800 fineness was the standard silver grade across most of Europe at the beginning of the 20th century.

Size: Approx 3.3 x 3.5cm.
