The Wind Out Table is a well known Victorian Invention, it extends the table by means of a winding mechanism which is operated with its own handle, the table opens in the centre, you insert the leaf and voilà you have a nice big family size table. This is the sturdiest form of extending table you will find
The table top is in Walnut it is a light colour similar to pine with a pretty shaded grain
The table legs are sturdy, turned and fluted in the Edwardian style with brown ceramic casters
This table has been in frequent use for the last 100 or so years, it still has its leaf, the winding mechanism is good, all in all is a good piece for either Kitchen or Dining Room, the top has a very slightly worn homely look
When extended the table is 54” long and 36” wide, it is 29.5” high and 25” under knee height
Without the leaf the table is 40” long and 36” wide
