Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
There is a concealed cushion moulded drawer to the centre section that is opened from within the drawer below. The base section has three long graduating drawers. Each of the drawers are fitted with decorative carved wooden knobs. Raised on a plinth base. This fantastic mahogany chest on chest separates into four pieces for ease of transport and movement. A particularly good example with rich colour and patina throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks to the drawer fronts and sides (pictured). There are some chips and losses to the veneer in places but overall, the chest remains in good condition. The mahogany chest on chest remains structurally solid and sound.
