Description

Matched set of 10 mid 19th.c. mahogany balloon back dining chairs c.1860. Slight differences in design, note the shaped front rail to some of the seats. Well matched for colour and style. Each with a shaped balloon type backrest with curving top rails and stretchers over loose seat pads. Moulded rails below the seat (two having flat side rails), raised on turned front legs. Serviceable upholstery, though a few of the seats could do with re-padding. Frames are in excellent condition, solid and sturdy, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
