Description

Splendid large Georgian style wingback armchair c.1890. Ribbed and button upholstered curving backrest with unusually deep wings over short arms and a sprung seat. Vintage upholstery in a very soft pale yellow velvet with piped edges. Raised on mahogany legs with pad feet at the front, the rear legs curving outwards for stability. A very comfortable chair, solid and sturdy, serviceable upholstery though with some marks.
