Victorian Novelty Basket Table Lighter.

Description

This handsome Victorian silver plated table lighter which is in the form of baskets is marked to the underside of each of the 3 baskets with the maker's mark of Alexander Clark Co Ltd and each one is marked with it's registered design number of 139400 which dates to 1889.

This novelty antique lighter has three baskets to hold cigars and three wicks which can be removed so gentlemen can light their cigars using the top wick.

The top screws off to fill with oil.

A very nice antique piece for a collector.

Marked: To base 3 times with maker's mark of AC Co Ltd. To each of the three baskets with registered design number of Rd No: 139400.

Dimensions: Length: 15 cm (6"). Width: 15 cm (6"). Height: 15 cm (6").

Weight: 374 g.

Condition: Very good antique condition with light signs of use in keeping with age. No damage, breaks or splits.
