A Harlequin Set of Four Mendlesham Chairs.

Description

A lovely harlequin set of four Mendlesham chairs, originating from the Mendlesham area of Suffolk Circa 1800 - 1860.

The chairs have various restorations and old worm in areas commensurate with age, but are in fabulous condition and have superb colour and patination.

These examples are constructed from various timbers, including fruitwood, laburnum, walnut, ash , and elm.

The chair seating height varies ever so slightly , and they are a comfortable seat.
