Sheraton Mahogany Oval Pembroke Table Circa 1795

Description

Very fine George III Sheraton figured mahogany oval drop flap pembroke table with kingwood and boxwood line cross-banded top. The frieze fitted with oak lined bow drawer and standing on square tapered legs with boxwood line inlay and inlaid half shell at top of legs. All in superb un-touched original condition with no breaks or cracks. Just a couple on minor boxwood line repairs. Fine rich colour with great waxed patina. A fine quality example and finely drawn.

Size; 39" x 32" open, 31" x 20" close. 28" high.
