Description

A lovely antique birch bedside cabinet. We date this cabinet to the late 19th century.
The cabinet sits on a plain plinth base with canted corners. The top surface has a lovely fixed marble top.
The cabinet has a drawer and cupboard that are fitted with white ceramic handles. The cupboard has a panelled door and is fitted with one internal shelf.
The cabinet has an overall height of 31.5" (80cm), a width of 15.5" (39cm) and a depth of 14" (36cm).
This attractive cabinet remains in good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are a few marks and a little bit of wear to the marble top. There are some old worm holes that have been treated twice to make sure.
This remains a very stylish & elegant cabinet. It could serve well as either a bedside cabinet or as a side cabinet. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
